• The King Valley’s cool climate gives elegance to this Shiraz. Sweet pepper, cloves and a hint of new leather fill the glass. Smooth and silky, the palate shows mixed berry fruit, framed by medium bodied tannins and light cedary oak.
  • This wine has pear fruit initially on the front palate and has a light to medium savoury, yeasty toasty finish. This is a result of lees contact post fermentation to enhance end palate longevity

“Lightning Strike“ Merlot - Ripe plum and raspberry and a whiff of cloves on the nose. Soft, silky and smooth with an enticing vanilla sweet palate and fruity finish.
  • Its name, derived from the Latin sanguis Jovis, "the blood of Jove”. This tells us the colour is a brick red, not a purple or deep burgundy. It is also known as the main component of Chianti. At home it’s our every day dinner drink. You just can’t beat it with tomato based pizza and pasta. That bitter-sweet maraschino cherry flavour works well with these types of food.

Colour of a summer sunset, this Rosato is bright and fresh with cherry, wild strawberry and floral aromas. A lovely textured palate with vibrant acidity and a long flavourful finish. Very pleasant and fun to drink all day long!

    * Silver Medal - Australian Italian Varieties 2017 Wine Show * Nero d’Avola is a fabulous medium-bodied red. Think red cherry, spice and savoury, with velvety tannins. Great with food or enjoyed on its own, even slightly chilled on a summer’s day.
  • This refreshing wine has typical musk, tropical and raspberry fruit aromas from the classic Muscat variety. It shows an alluring potpourri nose of rose petals and floral bouquets. Slightly fizzy with lower alcohol than most wines.

Matured in old oak hogsheads, the base blend is over 20 years old now but has an average age of 5 years old. This is calculated on the basis that we take out 20% out of the barrels every year for bottling and replace it with current vintage material. The barrels themselves suffer the summers under a hot tin shed where they concentrate flavour through evaporation. This is where we also get the rancio flavour or character that comes from aging in barrel. Enjoy.
